1. What's the strangest thing in your closet? a wolf hat? 
2. Who was the first movie character that impacted your style identity? Cher from Clueless. I started wearing knee high socks with my school uniform and had to have the same pink fuzzy top pens as her. I thought her computerized wardrobe was so amazing I wanted it so bad!
3. If you met your teenage self today, what would you say to her? take care of your skin. enjoy being able to eat all that junk food while you can!
4. Where's the best place you've been so far this year? home!
5. What is your idea of happiness? Family & good friends...andddd Chanel :)
6. What is your biggest guilty pleasure? mexican food
7. How do you hope to evolve as a designer? always challenge myself
8. What historical figure do you most admire style wise? Coco Chanel. She created a style that will always be timeless. 
9. What are you wearing on your nails right now? clear on my nails. nude on my toes.
10. My best advice for an aspiring designer is... Get experience. Keep an open mind. You might not get your dream job right away but any experience in the industry helps.

Love my new gifted Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes. It reminds me of Ralph Lauren / Audrey during her UNICEF days. This is a classic silhouette that I think both men and women should all have in their shoe wardrobe. Today is the last full day of my China journey and now its back to the states! :)

Long Live McQueen

Happy May Day from China. Finally have been enjoying the day off after a long week of correcting shoes and visiting factories. Did everyone watch the Royal Wedding?! I thought it was fabulous! I adore Kate Middleton and the fact that she wore McQueen! I think she carries herself so well with such grace..I mean shes a princess now!!! Such a modern day fairytale.. *sigh. 

Jonnathan and I still have one more week here to go and then we're back to the states!
