Today I went to visit the ancient ruins of Tulum right outside of Cancun. I'm not going to lie, I'm terrible at listening to tour guides talk about the history behind these types of things but I did enjoy looking at the gorgeous stone architecture and ocean backdrop setting. It's a surreal feeling to know that once upon a time this was an actual real city and not filled with tour guides, tourists, & ropes.
