!Happy New Years!

I hope everyone gets to celebrate and enjoy 2011 in its utmost with their families and friends. My plans are very simple and I am super excited to get to do them in Los Angeles this year: friends, sparkles, and champagne. 

Do you make resolutions?? I usually make some goals (like organizing my closet and keeping it that way for more than a day) but what I really love doing is giving the new year a theme. 2010, for example was the "Year of Travel" and I can safely say that I travelled more in this year than I have in any other yet. I am extremely fortunate to have had so many amazing adventures in my work and with my friends. I started 2010 in Prague with one of my best friends. Then before I knew it, I was going to Italy, Spain, and China to work on what I am so passionate about. 

This is the outfit I wore for my 2nd annual Gluhwein holiday party. My headpiece is called a fascinator and I bought it a few years ago from Patricia Shypertt, a milliner (hat maker) at a craft fair in Santa Monica. She said she made it with vintage Parisian satin wiring. I forget now what kind of feathers are on it, I love the way they look in front of my parents' Hunt Slonem painting. The outfit is all f21 and I am wearing my new Jeffrey Campbell Meeker wedges.

Took a few quick snapshots before my Grandparents Christmas party. I really love this Grey Faux fur jacket from Zara, the quality is suprisingly nice and has great movement in the wind or when your walking. My mission today is to find a great New Years ensemble. I am about to go on the hunt with my friend Savanah.. dont have anything super fancy planned but sparkle is always necessary for ringing in a new year.

Christmas Reindeer Hats

Merry Christmas!!!!!! My family has been celebrating all week and we're going into the final stretch. I feel so blessed and lucky to have so much love around me. Im wearing my boyfriends reindeer knit hat right now that we got at a mall vendor for $15, F21 jeans and sweater and Lisa Pliner Fall 2011 boots. Time to change into something a little more dressy though!  I hope everyone is having a festive holiday with love, happiness, health and cheer!

Darren Criss rocks Toys for Tots

I was introduced a little while back to Darren Criss at a birthday party where we had fun abbiamo parlato in italiano (he studied abroad in Italy). Very cool multi-talented musician who recently has been in the tv show Glee. 

Darren played a super high energy show at the Roxy this Saturday and took it a step further by making the show a toys for tots drive. Any fan who brought in a toy would get an autographed picture of Darren. It was amazing how many toys showed up, really nice ones too! His fans don't skimp on a good cause. It was also crazy to see the dedication of the fans, there was an endless line of umbrellas waiting on rainy Sunset Blvd to get inside.

1 - Darren, the toys and I / 2 - uber joy -- I only stuck around for the first show and the toys surrounding him were only a fraction of the first batch, I can only imagine how the haul turned out in the end / 3 - shiny mirror disco ball / 4 - working.. in a phantom planet tee! / 5 - my friend Christian manning the merch/toy boot / 6 - modern day concert pariphenalia : a sea of digital cams and cell phones ... lighters are now a part of the days of yore / 7 - Darren merch, I'm seeing a pattern here.. / 8 - lights, digital cams, show time.

 1 - tonight is the peak of the Geminid meteor shower which means 80+ wishes an hour / 2 - aketohn boots from piedi nudi nel parco / 3 - toro toro ... if you look at the night sky you can catch my sign right now next to orion. then look to the south round 1 to 3 am and start making those wishes lovely! / 4 - fun shooting boots and things...

Le Pain

Some photos from Wednesday afternoon in Westwood. One of my favorite places to eat is Le Pain Quotidien and I order the same thing every single time.. apple cider & black bean hummus tartine with avocado and spicy tahini spread. Why try something new when you already know you love right?

Walking on the outskirts of Central Park wearing my red sweater i got in a random shop in China with tulle undershirt, Zara Peacoat, F21 jeans and mittens, Vintage Chanel purse, and Donald J. Pliner leopard pony hair Gayoras. I've always wanted to ride in one of these horse carriages in the city but never follow through. I definitely will someday though when I get the chance!
