Frolicking around in my fab red sweater i got in the market with a seperate tulle tank underneath. My days in China are starting to come to an end and I'm so ready to head back to the states!! Hola Alicante

I was in Alicante, Spain last week for work. Spent most of the days working long hours helping to finish details for shoes and seeing how the Spanish factories do footwear. Even though I was working long hours, it was amazing to work in such a beautiful place. Warm weather, warm Mediterranean sea, it felt like Southern California to me. Here are a few pictures from the trip...

It happens to the best of us

So as you know right now I'm in China. The other day as I was leaving a factory.. I pass this grey shoe that caught my eye because of how familiar it looked. I walk over to it and tell one of the girls. Hey! I designed a shoe just like this! I pick it up look at the label and realize it is the actual shoe I designed! Sitting next to it was the knocked off version in bubblegum pink. Ahh the cycle of the shoe industry.

Hellooo Fall

This is my favorite time of year! I love the crisp gloomy weather, the leaves changing color, & passing pumpkin patches announcing that the Holiday seasons are about to begin. I cant wait to be home to take it all in!!!! Counting down the days....

Backpack in Hell

My new favorite materialistic goody is this, behold: my beloved backpack! I found it at Piedi Nudi Nel Parco here in Florence, one of the most interesting stores. The store is built on top of the oldest ruins in Florence. The floor is glass so you can look at the ruins below you as you go through their amazing selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories, including items from Isaac Sellam (like my dear backpack), Marsell, Alessandra Marchi, and many other amazings.

The second picture Annie took is of me walking down my new street to my apartment. I live on Via dell'Inferno... I love Florence and all the Dante references here. Anyways, the street of hell is quiet and very accommodating, charming even!

(btw I looove my Fabian boots!)

A very long fun day of shopping in Milan. Work shopping is very different than shopping for ourselves. We go to the best stores to look for trends, inspiration, & new constructions. Wish I could write more but I about to leave my hotel for Hong Kong!!
