Anything can happen

older pictures.. headband made by me

Whenever it is a windy day like this in LA it reminds me of the movie the Holiday where the weather is crazy windy and Jack Black says "legend has it when the winds blow like this anything can happen, all bets are off!" I watch that movie repeatedly throughout the year. Definitely in my classics list of movies.

Show Me Yer Shouldahs'

I don't know who to thank this time. . . Lady Gaga? Balmain? Anyways, thank you to Zara of course, for being so smart as to take inspiration from wherever you may have drawn it from and making a jacket with obnoxious shoulder pads that I can buy for under one-bazillion euros.

Apparently Zara is happy with it too, here it is in their store front in Florence. Right down the street from Luisa, where you can buy the Balmain version for the one-bazillion price-tag.

And here it is with my Rupert Sanderson shoes. They remind me of little helmets, warrior stilettos!

sloppy, slouchy, amazing

This sweater woke up one day and said, "Take pictures of me. I am sloppy. I am slouchy. I am amazing." It went on, "I am part Jedi, part alien, I can drape you, warm you, and be thrown causally atop the majority of your wardrobe - oh, and by the way, I zip all the way to the top, simply because I can."

I agree wholeheartedly little All Saints sweater. Thanks.

First picture is in my hotel room in Florence, not exactly scenic Firenze... I forgot about the zipping capabilities until now. So thank you IPhoto booth also.

Bay of Bunnies

Cardigan: YSL vintage menswear, Dress: F21, Booties: Lisa Pliner, Bag: Marc Jacobs Stam Bag, Belt: Ralph Lauren, Ring: Erickson Beamon for Target, Pearl Bracelet: Vintage hand me down, Necklace: 1928

This whole weekend consisted of Bloody Mary leisurely brunches! For easter we dressed ourselves in our Easter Sunday best and went to Asia de Cuba at the Mondrian hotel. It has a gorgeous view and right now is the perfect time to go before the summer hits and it starts to get really crowded infested with out of towners and pool parties.. not that the pool parties are a bad thing! Their calamari salad & butterfish are to die for, and the Bay of Pigs is a must choice for dessert. Of course for Easter we renamed it Bay of Bunnies and the chef did what he could to make it look like a bunny!

I wanted to try something new with my lipcolor so I tried out Mac lipstick 'Girl about town' and 'Like Venus' lipglass. I'm wearing Lisa Pliner shoes which I have been wearing like its nobodies business lately! I love them for their green soles and tractor bottom platforms.

Hope you all had a lovely relaxing Easter!!!

you were romeo I was a scarlet letter

Dress: H&M Garden Collection, Shoes: Aldo, Necklace: 1928, Pearl Bracelet: Tiffanys, Elephant ring:F21

Whenever I'm at this pier in the Marina I always run into this sea lion. He is so cute he always pops up and says hi and swims up to you! I think he usually sleeps under the docks. Anyways I first discovered this place with my boyfriend and I occasionally go back to say hi to the big guy.

Hope everyone has a fun easter, I'm off on a mission to find some floral, frilly, pretty spring dresses!

I was here.

Just in case you were wondering...

I have been busy busy and all about this little world recently and altogether horrid at taking the proper gluttonous amount of pictures that I should be taking AND at posting, at all, even a little!

That being said, I WAS busy busy (you can tell by the above pictures in Miami, I am wearing only flat shoes). I DID have some fab places to be busy in though.

Even though I almost didn't take any pictures in Italy (fail!), I still had had had to take this one. This is one of the silliest but best things in Italy, my favorite junk food in the world: kinder bueno, nutella, and fonzies. Yessss.

I get to fly off tomorrow for another round of exotic shoe madness, but expect to see some fun images this time around.
